Key features

Cap egg-shaped to spherical, ochre yellow to brown, with an irregular net of ribs and deep pits arranged like a honeycomb (alveoli). Stem white to cream, folded at the base, HOLLOW inside along its entire length together with the cap (the key feature distinguishing it from the False Morel).
