Key features

Cap white to cream, smooth, silky, hemispherical, then flattened. Gills WHITE, staying white or very pale pink (they do NOT turn brown as in Agaricus mushrooms): the key feature; stem white with a white ring and a slightly bulbous base. Easily confused with Agaricus mushrooms and white amanitas.
