Key features

Cap rusty orange to brick brown, conical with a distinct umbo, finely fibrous-scaly. Gills distant, rusty; stem slender, fibrous, with yellowish bands of veil; the toxin orellanine destroys the kidneys (symptoms after 2 to 20 days).
