Key features

Cap egg-shaped to bell-shaped, gray-brown or leaden gray, longitudinally furrowed, with fine scales in the center; the margin blackens and dissolves with time. Stem white, smooth, hollow, without a distinct ring. Contains coprine: combined with alcohol it causes a disulfiram-like syndrome (flushing, tachycardia, nausea).
