Key features

Cap brown to dark hazel, covered with small, pure white, fairly regularly spaced warts from the veil; margin distinctly striate. Stem white with a smooth, thin ring without striations and a characteristic volva forming ring-like rolls above the bulb; flesh white, does not redden when cut.
