Key features

Cap rusty brown to orange-brown, smooth, with a distinctly striate margin, usually without veil remnants. Stem slender, pale ochre, WITHOUT a ring, with a saclike, rusty-spotted volva at the base; gills white. Belongs to the grisette group: poisonous raw, edible only after heat treatment.
